History and Key Milestones

2001

SMiC Consultancy Company was established and operated under the Law on Enterprise 1999. SMiC’s objective was to promote investment and business activities and support consulting solutions on control, management and investment for increasing enterprises’ management capacity and business effectiveness.

8/2003

SMiC Law Office was founded basing on inheriting the achievements of SMiC Consultancy Company, starting for SMiC’s conversion into professional consultancy. SMiC has become a prestigious brandname in Vietnamese legal consulting market.  .

7/2008

After the enaction of the Law on Lawyers 2006, in response to integration and development request, SMiC Law Office was changed into SMiC Law Firm. It was a significant milestone opening a strong and dynamic development period for SMiC.

In 2008

SMiC also opened a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, the centre of Vietnam’s economy, trade and investment, and the most dynamic legal consulting service market in the country.

8/2009

It was the eighth anniversary of SMiC. On this occasion, SMiC was awarded various honorable titles for its great achievements and contribution in the legal sector and the growth of the Vietnamese enterprise community.

2010

SMiC continues to pursue the strategy to become the leading brand name in Vietnam’s legal consulting service sector and expand to the regional and international market by opening a branch in Singapore and gradually approach Northeast Asia, Western Europe and North America market.
